Go to Sensoji! and Delight in an Asakusa Personal Walking Tour!

Everybody knows Tokyo doesn’t really have landmarks such as New York’s Statue of Liberty, Big Ben or Eiffel Tower— but if it did, it would have to be Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, a 15-minute train ride from Tokyo station Ever since the Edo time period (1603-1868) Asakusa has been the most famous tourist site in Tokyo. Today, Asakusa continues to be No.1 place to go for foreign tourists. Come along and join us on this private walking tour in Asakusa! Nakamise street is the oldest shopping arcade in Tokyo, and is usually lively with tourists and vacationers on the way to Sensoji Temple.

Be taken back in history

Dempoin Street is where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Edo period. Experience a ninja show at the Hanayashiki theme park, or enjoy a cruise on a traditional rickshaw. To completely get a feeling of Japanese life, you may want to visit a kimono store where you will be able to try on an authentic kimono, then go for a walk in your kimono to the nearby Taiko Drum Museum. Had a great tour the weather was a bit cold and it was raining but kenneth showed us some other scenes and also included an owl cafe for the kids to enjoy which made it a highlight for the kids, while they were enjoying the owls my wife could dress up in a kimono for the day and enjoy the atmosphere of Asakusa.

If you want to create a good photo memory in Japan, in the very touristic Asakusa place, this spot is fun and good. Lot of kimonos and all of them are very nice. You can easily participate and go back with your photos on your own camera.
